Dorothea R. Arnold, Program and Development Associate
Dorothea is the Administrative Assistant at Girls For A Change. Dorothea comes from the Bay Area, born in San Francisco and raised in Sonoma, California. Dorothea is currently finishing her B.A. in Latin American and Latino Studies with a focus in Social Justice and Outdoor Education at the University of California at Santa Cruz. With a passion for working with people and exploring social justice issues Dorothea finds Girls For A Change to fit perfectly with her passions. Dorothea has also traveled all over the world to volunteer and build schools in Africa, Asia, Europe, Central America, and South America. Dorothea feels that every person should do their part to make positive change in this world and to encourage sustainability for our future. Dorothea finds happiness backpacking, mountaineering, singing, volunteering, playing soccer, dancing, painting, surfing in Santa Cruz, traveling and eating foods from all over the world!
