GFC arrived in New York City in the Fall of 2008 when MS 399 and the Bronx Studio School for Writers and Artists participated in our National Tour. MS 399 followed up with 3 Girl Action Teams in January 2009. Girls For A Change launched additional Girl Action Teams in New York City in 2009-10 with generous funding from Pine-Sol®.
